WINTER OUTFIT // WHITE JEANS - AND HOW TO STYLE THEM
First post of 2019, woohoooo!! (and just so you know: from now on blog posts will be going live every Tuesady and Friday at 9pm MEZ sharp). After a very long, much-needed two week break from every day life I’m back and starting the New Year with an outfit post I’ve been wanting to do for quiiiite a while: white jeans! They’ve been a huge trend in the summer of 2018 and it seems you won’t get rid of them in the winter season either ;-)
Yes, they’re for those who like to live dangerously and are capable of eating anything containing tomatoes without spilling it all over themselves (fun fact: I’m not one of those people. Ha.). But they also look incredibly good and are pretty much a wardrobe staple that can spruce up any outfit. You can wear them in pretty much every style and combine them with whatever piece of clothing you want. Make it chic, make it cool, make it cozy make it casual: anything goes!
Personally, in this shoot I’ve decided to style them with my beloved créme-coloured knit-jumper, a checked coat and golden DocMartens. Of course Christian (Dior) is again part of the outfit (You’ll be seeing a lot of my new favourite vintage bag and I’m planning on a separate blog post dedicated on how to find an affordable vintage designer piece). So personally, I love combining white jeans with another brightly-coloured piece on top (going full forensics team member here) and just throw my favourite oversize coat over my shoulders and I’m set for the day (outfit-wise).
As for accessories, you’re -again- basically free to combine the white pair of jeans with whatever you please. Add some dainty golden jewelry (goes great with the créme), crazy colourful hats and scarves (kinda regretting not having done that myself haha!) and your favourite pair of boots, sneakers or slippers. Check out the gallery below, I’ve added some of my favourite pairs of white jeans (going from affordable to premium, slim to wide leg!)
