BRAND INSIGHT // DISCOVERING COLLUSION
I love discovering new brands. It’s one of the most intriguing things when you’re as knee-deep into fashion as I am. Especially if those said brands pride themselves in being inclusive, different and experimental. May I introduce to you: COLLUSION.
Their pieces are sold exclusively on ASOS! What is there to say, I immediately fell in love with their clean-cut, colourful and may I say amazingly shaped clothes. According to COLLUSION, they’ve been creating and establishing the brand over the past year with the help of six creatives from all fields of work - students, artists, stylists; you name it (Which already amounts to an awesomely big variety of different people to be included in the work process, no?).
Some of their pieces even are UNISEX, and oh boy, that makes for some crazily cozy Oversize Jumpers, just you try. Another very convincing fact to at least try out some of their pretty pieces: they’re clothes are all animal-free and most of their cotton is manufactured sustainably. Sounds good or what?!
Anyway, as for this outfit post, I decided to go for a simple, white turtle neck and a lovely blazer dress with a very relaxed, urban vibe to it. They both have a very comfortable, true-to-size fit, which speaks only in COLLUSION’s favour, when they say that their sizing is meant to be inclusive. I mean, come on. Nothing more annoying than buying a piece of what you though was your size and oh la la - certain body parts seem to have magically grown over night.
So far, they seem to be staying true to all their credos, which gives me as a consumer and self-pronounced fashionaddict a very secure feeling when purchasing from them.
I hope you enjoyed this short and sliiightly over-excited insight into one of my new favourite labels-to-be. Why don’t you leave me a comment with what you’re thinking about and whether you wanna hear more of my brand insight, or other topics you want me to write about? :)
xoxo, and talk to you soon,
PS: How do you like my Kurt Cobain hair-vibe going on in the feature picture? Honestly didn’t realise until after I edited them, but it kinda makes me like the outfit even more, Haha!
