NEW YEAR'S OUTFIT // THE CHIC, THE COZY AND THE CRAZY
Shame on me. Due to acute busyness I’ve not found the time to write a Christmas outfit blog post so I decided that I’d do one for the festive days after the festive days: NEW YEAR’S!!!
To be frank, it would be sort of hypocritical of me to put up a blog post about Christmas outfits when all I do is spend the entire holiday season in my pj’s. I do put on the occasional festive wear for all the Christmas dinners, but the moment my belly tells me to stop stuffing my face with food, I usually change back into my pj’s. I do love to dress up for New Year’s Eve though and so I thought it’d be way more authentic (since that is what everyone tells you to be ;-)) to put up a blog post featuring my three favourite outfits I’ve picked to possibly wear to celebrate the ending of 2018 and the beginning of 2019. One for every way of celebrating, whether you’re feeling fancy and snazzy, crazy disco ball or just wanna spend a relaxed night with friends and family while still looking somewhat festive! I have very high hopes for the upcoming year in terms of fighting for my dreams, facing my fears and sticking to a more disciplined routine. So I think I’m going bold.. why don’t you leave me a comment with your guess of which outfit is my personal winner haha :-D (and yours of course! I love to be inspired by others!). I’ll leave you the outfit details under each one!
I’m loving this glittery midi-dress in combination with some more “rough” and sturdy boots! It’s long-sleeved which is perfect for the colder temperatures and can be perfectly paired with a long, black blazer! To top it off I put on my Blair Waldorf-inspired, golden headband from H&M.
To be honest: yes I did feel like a living, breathing disco ball. But I also felt brave, bold and like myself, so I’m in absolute awe with this sequin dress from the H&M x Moschino collab. PS: boots are very comfy, so definitely fit for dancing through the nigh!
Whether it’s for a cozy night out or at home, this velvet jumpsuit and knit jumper are as elegant as they are comfy. Again, headband it is.
I hope you all have a wonderful, peaceful festive time with the people you love! Since not everyone is as lucky as you or I, still be mindful and especially careful during this time of the year. Give the little extra smile, nice gesture or a hug and spread some love :-)
Best of all and talk to you soon,
